Micromachism

I am indebted to you!!

My classmates, Julia García, Patricia Navarro, Carolina Puertos and I have already created our educational video about micromachism. I talked about it in my previous post that you can find here if you want to have a look. And also you can check our Google Doc in which we wrote the scripts and we share the roles.

We went to the "Future Classroom Lab" in the Ministry of Education and we recorded the video using a chroma board. We have never used one before and it's amazing how does it work when you edit the video. In my planet there is nothing similar!! I was 😯!!!

At first, when you record the video, you have behind you a green board. Once, you have the video, that green board allows you to edit the background with a program!!

In our case, we used Movavi and it surprised us! It was our first time editing a video and we thought that it would be very difficult, but with this tool, the process was very easy!  We edit the videos and put the images from Pixabay for the backgrounds.
Movavi has a wide variety of posibilities to edit videos or images. Once that you have edited one, you can edit a lot! Very easy! I really recommend this tool, overall, because it is available  for Mac and Windows and beacuse of its use! It is thought not only for videos, also for photos and audios! Check it guys, it is awesome!!!

It was our first time creating a project like this one, so we decided to bring our Google Doc printed to the Future Classroom Lab, (which was created by all of us and drafted by me), just to check in the case that we forgot our dialogues.
During the recording, Patricia, our Community Manager was taking photos and twittering the process of our project!
Our recorder, Carolina, guided and suggested us how to act in the scences! She was like Spielberg! The experience was very funny!! We had a good time because sometimes we couldn't stop laughing!
Finally, when we had the video recorded, it is true that when we edited the video, it took us a lot of time, because we had to cut, look for images, edit some scences, put them in order... but finally, with our effort and overall, Julia's effort (our editor) we could create a cool video!

Here you can see some photos of that day.

And here, you can find our video!!! It has been created to make our children aware of what is micromachism (regardless of it is micro or macro) and how they can identify it! Also, as you can see, we have represented usual situations that maybe they are going to live, so they will be enough informed about this and they will be able to stop that situation and give their opinions with a base.

It is thought for 6th graders because, we consider that this topic is a little bit difficult for younger students.
After watching it, our students will have to answer the questions that appear in the video and also, they will have to debate the situations represented.

As I have said previously, we have chosen common situations to make this project more engaging. Moreover, watching a video will be funnier and more enjoyable thann reading a story for example.

One advantage of this project is that it can be used in many subject, for example in Language, they will develope their oral skills throught debates. Also, in Social Science, we can talk about machism in different countries. And why not? in P.E, they can also represent situations as we have donde in the video!

And that's all! I just want to finish this post giving my classmates thanks for this experience! It wouldn't  have been the same without them!!!😘😘😘

I hope you like!
