Micro... what?
Hey!!!
I am writing this post with a mix of feelings...
Last month, there were big demonstrations in a lot of cities of this world. I didn't know why a lot of people (the mojority, women) were on the street, shouting, singing and talking. So I began to investigate.
Surprisingly, in this world that is proud of its progress in a lot of fields such as technology, communication, science, etc., it has a big problem in society. And it is called machism.
What is machism? It is an attitude or a way of thinking which maintains that the man is over the woman. As an example, here there are a lot of jobs that are carried out by men and women, but they do not receive the same salary. And what is worst, a lot of women are killed by men. Incredible.
Because of this reason, when I was talking with a group of human teachers and I told them my surprise about this problem, we had an idea! We are going to create a video for children in which we represent different situations of machism in the society. And you may think, why? Well... we all agree that if we start to make them aware od this problem as soon as possible, maybe, in the future they won't have to suffer it.
So, GET ON WITH IT!
Before recording the video, we had to think about which situations are going to be represented, create the script and the title.
The situations that we are going to represent are example of machism that we can find in:
Once, we had everything thought, in Google Drive (a platform in which you can create, share and edit documents) we create a document to write it.
What do we want to achieve with this task?

- day a day conversations (ex. in a supermarket)
- films
- ordinary situations (ex. an interview)
- songs

What do we want to achieve with this task?
- Make our children aware of what is machism.
- To develop their oral communication through debates, sharing opinions, etc.
- To develop their cultural knowledge.
- To encourage drama aspects, representing these situations.
I have enjoyed a lot this part of the task, and it is only this beginning. I will upload the video as soon as possible!
